Havencare (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides in-home care services and operates the website havencare.ai (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy applies to clients, family members, caregivers, applicants, and visitors.
By using the Site, applying for a job, or receiving services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information we collect

We only collect health-related information that is necessary to coordinate care.

- Process payments and billing
- Improve our Site and services

3. Text messaging (SMS) communications
Havencare collects mobile phone numbers from clients, families, and prospective caregivers in order to send text messages related to appointment reminders, caregiver scheduling, care coordination, and caregiver application or onboarding updates.
Consent. By providing your mobile number and agreeing to receive text messages — whether verbally during a phone call, through a signed form, or by opting in online — you consent to receive SMS messages from Havencare at that number. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving care services or employment with Havencare.
No sharing for marketing purposes. Havencare does not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. This information is used solely to provide the services described above.
Message frequency and fees. Message frequency varies based on your care schedule, caregiver activity, or application status. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Opt-out. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent unless you opt back in. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at (833) 703-4244 or support@havencare.ai.
Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Havencare's SMS program is supported in the United States.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
- With caregivers assigned to your care, to the extent necessary to provide services
- With service providers who perform functions on our behalf (e.g., payment processing, scheduling software, SMS/email delivery), under obligations to protect your information and use it only for the purpose we specify

- In connection with a business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections
We do not share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties for their own marketing purposes, as described in Section 3.
5. Cookies and website analytics
Our Site may use cookies, analytics tools, and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the Site and to improve its functionality. These technologies may collect information such as browser type, device information, IP address, pages visited, and interactions with the Site. Some of these technologies may be provided by third-party service providers.
You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect some features of the Site.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Consent records (including verbal consent logs) are retained for the duration of the relationship and for a reasonable period afterward to demonstrate compliance.

- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your information
- Opt out of text message or email communications at any time
